What We Do
The main activities of the Carla Mercurio Foundation focus on cultural and professional enrichment outside the institutional framework. This include extracurricular and professional training, as well as support for cultural events of social interest and educational impact.
The Foundation also supports both undergraduate and postgraduate education, as well as scientific research. It supports students and families in their educational endeavours, including the awarding and funding of scholarships and prizes as an investment in the future of young people and society.
Carla Mercurio Foundation Study Center
The main objective of the Carla Mercurio Foundation is to create the “Carla Mercurio Study Centre”, a dedicated space for young people to discover, renew and nourish their passion for culture.
The Study Centre will provide opportunities for training in essential disciplines, balancing theory and practice. It will enable students and academics to engage in meaningful reflection, prioritising the quality of knowledge over quantity and promoting an interdisciplinary approach.
Enriched by specialised courses, conferences, seminars and events, and supported by the experience of teachers and professionals, the Study Centre’s education will allow young people to broaden and deepen their knowledge beyond formal education, enhancing their talents and cultivating a vision that remains focused on reality.
In order to carry out such an important social initiative, the Foundation is seeking the support of individuals and companies committed to education.
"The opening of the Carla Mercurio Study Centre is our primary objective. Through it, we aim to foster a genuine cultural revival, to inspire a love for truth within people, as well as goodness and beauty through knowledge."
