School Project
The Carla Mercurio Foundation works directly with schools, offering support and organising courses and cultural activities for students.
Since its inception, the Foundation has collaborated with the Convitto Nazionale ‘Vittorio Emanuele II’ in Rome, contributing financially to the organisation of the study trip to China reserved for the students of the International Scientific High School with the Chinese language option, providing concrete support to the school and to families, and enabling less well-off young people to benefit from an interesting educational experience abroad.
For the San Giuseppe Calasanzio Institute in Rome, the Foundation wanted to help by creating the “Carla Mercurio” prize for the most deserving high school student, thus contributing to the promotion of merit.
On the occasion of the World Sleep Day in 2023, at the Gianelli Institute in Rome, in collaboration with San Giuseppe Calasanzio, the Foundation organised a competition for the secondary school students of the two institutes. The young people were asked to create an artistic work on the theme of sleep, with the aim of raising awareness and stimulating their creativity.
