Chopin at home
Fund-raising event organised by the Carla Mercurio Foundation to combine the promotion of culture with support for medical research. The proceeds from the evening’s ticket sales were in fact earmarked by the Foundation for the establishment of scholarships in the field of scientific research into the ultra-rare neurological disease GNAO1, a condition with early paediatric onset. The concert was performed by Marco Arcieri at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome, with an evening entirely dedicated to pieces by the great Polish composer. The evening was also an opportunity to officially present to the public the pianist’s first recording project, realized with the patronage of Carla Mercurio Foundation, sponsored by E.L.T.I. – Certification Body and recorded with the technical support of VDM High End Records.
